Short Abstract
Gen AI is on everyone’s mind, but few know how to harness its power specifically for training. This session will demonstrate examples of Copilot Agents (similar to ChatGPT custom GPTs) created to enhance engagement in assessment activities for eLearning and in-person training. Training will be provided on how to create such Agents.
Extended Abstract
People using Generative Artificial Intelligence systems like ChatGPT, Copilot, Claude, and Gemini may grow weary of creating lengthy prompts where much of the information about how to respond seems to be repeated in every prompt. ChatGPT has a customize option that is away for addressing this that many people are not aware of. Starting with that option, we will look at ways to extend Copilot’ s capabilities using Agents.
For many trainers, the need to come up with creative assessment questions for eLearning is a challenge. For multiple choice questions, reasonable distractors are needed. The eLearning system may allow other types of questions like matching or category sorting, but It is a challenge to come up with good questions. Once questions are created, learner feedback that is encouraging but doesn’t just give the correct answer is needed. This process repeats for every question. This session will demonstrate a Copilot Agent created to assist with this problem.
For in-person training, the need for assessment provides different challenges. How can the assessment be challenging and engaging? Some Agents to simulate game shows will be demonstrated that engage learners while doing some informal assessment of the learning.
Using Agents can be helpful, but more helpful would be the ability to create your own Agents. The session will conclude with instruction on creating an Agent.
Level of Participation:
Attendees will see the game show assessment activities as given in Agents created by the presenter. They will then see the process of creating an Agent.
Session Objectives:
1. Participants will learn how to customize ChatGPT to provide it consistent background information.
2. Participants will learn how Agents can enhance assessment questions in eLearning modules.
3. Participants will learn how custom “game show” Agents can enhance learner engagement in assessment activities during in-person training.
4. Participants will learn how to create Agents in Copilot.
