Artificial intelligence holds tremendous potential to transform learning and spur innovation on a global scale. Audience members will learn about an innovation from TSU - the Arrighi AI Convenience - Competencies Utilization Scale. Artificial intelligence (AI) has rapidly infiltrated various domains, revolutionizing industries and shaping our daily lives. Artificial intelligence holds tremendous potential to transform learning and spur innovation on a global scale. The rapid advancement of artificial intelligence (AI) has revolutionized various aspects of human life, from healthcare to education. As AI continues to integrate into our daily routines, understanding the factors influencing its adoption and efficacy is crucial. This extended abstract presents the Arrighi A.I. "Convenience to Competency" Utilization Scale (ACCU), a novel instrument designed to measure individuals' perceptions of AI's role in enhancing cognitive functions and self-efficacy. This session will highlight cutting-edge research and AI applications to enhance learning impacts worldwide.
The interactive segment aims to generate collaborative problem-solving around scaling successes, addressing challenges, and establishing an intentional community supporting the continued innovation and sharing of best practices around enhancing learning globally through artificial intelligence integration.
1. Examine innovative and cutting-edge models of integrating artificial intelligence technologies into teaching, learning, and student support services to improve outcomes.
2. Analyze assessment data on the impacts of AI-driven instruction and tools on learning, retention, and workforce readiness to inform best practices.
3. Evaluate a new assessment tool - the Arrighi AI Connivence - Competencies Utilization Scale - to understand how it can measure individual aptitude with AI and help institutions develop students' competencies.
4. Engage in collaborative discussions with presenters and peers to explore partnership opportunities, key challenges, and strategies for successfully adopting AI technologies on a global scale to enhance access, quality, and equity in education worldwide.

Assistant Dean, Teacher Education at Tennessee State University
Dr. Nicole Arrighi is a distinguished professor in the Department of Teaching and Learning at Tennessee State University. With expertise in educational leadership and curriculum development, she is committed to advancing teacher education through innovative research and student-centered pedagogy. Dr. Arrighi has contributed significantly to the development of education preparation programs and is a mentor to future educators. As a 2023 Apple Distinguished Educator and A.I. Teaching Fellows at her institution, Dr. Arrighi’s work emphasizes equity in education and preparing effective, culturally responsive teachers to meet the needs of diverse student populations.
