How do we harness AI’s power and potential while still holding true to who we are (within HBCUs)? Join a panel of esteemed HBCU community members as they discuss this question through sharing specific strategies and resources for integrating AI solutions within their institutional contexts.
Extended Abstract
This session leverages the new report “Leading the AI Revolution: The Crucial Role of HBCUs in Steering AI Leadership” as a guide for determining key areas of focus with respect to implementing AI into teaching and learning spaces. The speakers in this session will share around two key categories named in the report: governance and pedagogy (including curricular innovations). Audience members are encouraged to bring specific questions related to the integration of AI to the session, as our goal is to not only showcase HBCU leadership and change work, but likewise create a dialogic community space for discussing challenges, concerns, and opportunities.
