The Hardy Strategic Consulting Group, LLC (The Hardy Group) brings together leading distance and online learning strategists with deep experience across higher education, federal and state governments, and EdTech. The group is led by Dr. Darcy Hardy, who has over 35 years of experience in the field.

We believe the overall focus has to be on the outcome, not the consulting. In other words, we help you move from Point A to Point B with your online programming. Not sure about Point A? We’ll help you establish a realistic vision. What is Point B? It’s where you want to be in three to five years in this space. Our goal is to give you a plan that will get you there.

Our services include Online Learning Visioning and Strategic Planning, Custom Consulting on topics such as curriculum and instructional design, AI Policy, EdTech Adoption, CBE, Assessment Strategies, and Empathic Communication, to name a few.  Our team has the breadth and depth to help any institution or organization create successful online programs. 

Our Retainer service provides the institution or organization with access to the team for an agreed-upon number of hours per month. Private institutions, non-profit organizations, corporate and government entities may find this service valuable.

Primarily for public institutions, we offer On-Call Services. This involves a zero-dollar contract where clients can contact the Group for consulting services at an hourly rate for an agreed-upon period and maximum hours. The On-Call Service gives the institution or organization access to Dr. Hardy and the team as needed - a “just-in-time” service that the client controls.
