In today’s digital learning landscape, creating engaging and efficient online finance courses poses a significant challenge. This presentation explores how learning designers transformed complex and dense content into dynamic and interactive learning experiences through the use of content analysis strategies and visual storytelling techniques. Our journey began with a thorough analysis of the original content, activities, and assessments. We then devised a meticulous plan to transform complex finance concepts into engaging and easily digestible chunks. By utilizing visual storytelling, we managed to make the learning process more enjoyable and memorable. The result was active course content featuring highly engaging animated videos created with Vyond, interactive presentations developed using Articulate Rise, and interactive exercises providing students just-in-time feedback. In this workshop, we will explore the journey of transforming complex and lengthy content into interactive, engaging learning experiences that cater to diverse needs. Participants will be introduced to practical strategies for leveraging technology to create engaging and inclusive learning environments. We will cover: - Content Analysis: Deconstruct your existing course material to pinpoint areas ripe for improvement, ensuring that every element aligns with and reinforces core learning objectives. - Multimedia and eLearning Tools: Making appropriate decisions on which tools and technologies to use.
